Attorney Profile

Donald H. Peters is the president of Social Security Professionals. He has been a licensed Attorney in the State of Michigan for over 26 years during which time he has excelled as a Social Security Disability Attorney.

Mr. Peters rarely loses a Social Security Disability case and if you don’t win your claim, he doesn’t make a penny. Mr. Peters attributes his great success to over 30 years of formal education, experience, and intensive training obtained in College, Law School, and in the Courtroom.
Mr. Peters and Social Security Professionals utilize only licensed attorneys with a long history of winning Social Security Disability and SSI claims. We do not utilize non-attorney representatives.

Prior to obtaining his license in 1987, Mr. Peters attended Saginaw Valley State University on a full Football scholarship where he played varsity Football and Baseball. Mr. Peters ultimately graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with honors (Cum Laude) in 1981.
During college and after graduating from college, Mr. Peters worked in the Auto Industry from assembly lines to corporate offices.
He eventually attended Wayne State University Law School where he focused his studies on Trial Advocacy and Moot Court to develop and refine trial and appellate skills. Mr. Peters earned several honors during Law School including a “Gold Key Certificate Award” for Academic Excellence and an “American Jurisprudence Book Award” for the highest score in his Criminal Procedure class.
After graduating from Law School, Mr. Peters made thousands of Court Appearances including trials, hearings, motions, administrative hearings and appeals. He has appeared and argued in the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Court of Claims, as well as numerous Circuit and District Courts throughout Michigan. Mr. Peters is certified to Practice in the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan, the Michigan Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals 6th Circuit.

Mr. Peters represents and counsels Social Security Disability Claimants all over the State of Michigan and throughout the Country.
