If a Claimant meets the criteria in a listing, he or she will be found disabled.

You should take a copy of any listing you think you may meet and discuss it with your doctor. The list is also helpful to assist Health Care and Mental Health Care Professionals determine whether a patient meets a listing when rendering an Expert opinion that may be submitted to the Social Security Administration.
